RMT Archives: Taking Nominations

Captivated by the commentary? Dazzled by the display? Whatever the reason, if you were impressed with a RMT on the site and believe it deserves to be archived, post your nomination here. We'll only accept the best of the best, so don't be offended if a nomination isn't selected. Things we'll be looking for:

-A well-defined and well-orchestrated strategy
-Synergy and general functionality
-Ingenuity (the successful kind)
-Thorough, insightful commentary
-Excellent presentation

If you believe a RMT meets those criteria, post it here for nomination! Please include a brief description explaining why you believe your choice should be archived. Additionally, do not nominate your own teams. If a nomination is rejected, do not nominate the team again.

I'm personally excited for this project--hopefully it will allow us to chronicle the development of great RMTs here at CAL and provide newer users with some examples to look up to. Happy nominating!

Viva LA Vida !! Ranked Top 5 / WC Unbeaten - legendary_07

This team just blew me away. I read every word of this RMT which is something I almost never do. The team itself is very innovative, using only a couple of completely standard sets, yet legendary has also been extremely successful with it, as shown by his laddering achievements and his winning record in the World Cup of Pokemon, where he was pitted against top-tier players.

March of the Penguins: Redux [Suspect/OU Team Retirement] - Ciaran

First and foremost, this team is an accurate portrayal of the metagame after Salamence was banned, utilizing the now common Fire / Water / Grass core with incredible efficiency. Secondly, the team was able to use a few creative and innovative sets that Ciaran tailored specifically for the purpose of that team. The team has shown success both in laddering and tournament play, and overall is an extremely well presented and made team.
